Biology, Chemistry and Physics are taught as separate classes. These include assessing prior
knowledge, filling the knowledge gaps and exam practice both during and between sessions.

Who runs Pineapple Tuition?
Hi, I'm Sophia, Director at Pineapple Tuition. I left the classroom in 2023 and decided to offer high-quality Science tuition as a private tutor. I quickly became fully booked for one-to-one slots, and now offer small group lessons online for all my students. I've got nearly 2 decades of experience in the classroom (I know I don't look old enough!) and a passion for empowering students. I'm here at Pineapple, ready to guide you on a fabulous, exciting learning journey!
I've taught A-level Biology throughout my career, even setting up the A-level Biology course from scratch at my last school. As an ex-Head of Science and ex-Examiner, I know how important exam grades are, and the exact strategy your child needs to succeed in their exams.
As well as teaching GCSE Science and A-level Biology small groups myself, I have a fantastic team of tutors who work alongside me to give you a really high-quality experience.
We currently offer at GCSE level- Science, English, and Maths (for multiple exam boards). At A-level, Biology (with me) and Chemistry (led by an ex-Head of Chemistry on my team)
My team and I are all highly qualified tutors and are dedicated to nurturing bright minds for exam excellence.

A comprehensive foundation for future success
A low cost membership course, with access to high quality, recorded lessons for the whole of the year 7 & 8 National Curriculum for Science. Designed to build strong foundational knowledge in preparation for the GCSE courses that start in year 9. You will need to purchase the workbooks alongside this course, so you get plenty of practice at exam style questions, and to ensure you have understood the content. We have bi-monthly live calls for support.
